The birds were flown.
"Second to the right, and straight on till morning."
That, Peter had told Wendy, was the way to Neverland.
LOL. I'd say that experience qualifies for may the study of the physics, laws of motion or something. :)I've been meaning to say I love your blog title. Peter Pan is my favorite childhood story and one of my boys' faves, too.
Aww, thanks Melody! Yes, funny how many everyday things can be "fit" into curriculum jargon, if needed! LOL! Thanks.....it just came to me one day when we were reading Peter Pan and I thought how appropriate it was for us. : )
The kids in NM go back to school in August! My friends 9-year-old son is in school from 8:35 am to 4:10 pm. He then goes to the after school 'homework help' program till 6:00 pm. I swear!!!! I'm thinking to myself, "Geesh! I must be way past any school thoughts because I totally missed a 'Not Back to School' post! BG That's cool and a long way from Kansas for me! I think that I will put one on just for nostalgia. Hey, and Dave is in San Diego right now...just a little down the ways from ya.
We can't really help but notice because we have school across the street, which incidently, makes it impossible to leave my house between the hours of 8-815 am and 3-315pm! HE HE! I know, it really sucks the # of hours those kids are in school (& aftercare), I feel sorry for them!
I was thinking about when we both lived in Horsethief...we couldn't MISS all that school stuff going on! It was the center of that community.
